I was thrilled to hear that Warren Zevon would be on the Archive and psyched to see the first show posted...until I saw it was only offered in FLAC.
Is it the policy of this artist's estate to only allow lossless or was this just the decision of the individual taper/uploader?

waiting for your reply in 56k hell,

Being a first time uploader here, my ignorance kicked into full gear. I'm going to edit the listing to allow mp3s shortly. They *should* be available in 24-48 hours.

Sorry about that. Live and learn.

Jordan didn't specify either way, so if any no-MP3 box were checked, that would be at the personal discretion of taper or uploader.

Don't worry, there are many shows in circ and so I imagine we'll see more appear later from other uploaders (hi, Bryan!) with mp3-OK setting. It's only been a couple days, after all.

EDIT: Voila!

I had a great time listening to that show (and mp3's are much easier for me to play). I love that he started with a line from ginsberg's howl in werewolf of london.

a-woooo!
